A deep clean is a top-to-bottom reset for a home — the extra layer of detail beyond a regular clean, covering the things that build up over months rather than days. It's what most people book before moving in or out, after a big life event, as a seasonal spring clean, or as the first visit before regular cleaning begins. Here's exactly what ours covers, on the Isle of Man, at a flat £25/hour.

What's not included
Moving heavy items. We clean all accessible areas and work around furniture and appliances rather than moving anything heavy — we'll clean behind/under a fridge or sofa only where it can be moved safely without two people or special equipment.
Your own vacuum & mop. Where possible we use equipment already in the house — happy to bring our own by prior arrangement.
A few things need adding on, not assumed. These aren't automatically part of a Deep Clean, but can be added for a little extra time at booking:
- Oven clean (interior & exterior)
- Bed linen change
- Inside fridge/freezer, microwave & small appliances
- Inside cupboards, wardrobes & drawers (where emptied), and ironing — on request
How long it takes & what it costs
A deep clean is priced on total work-hours, not time on-site — so a bigger home sent a two-person team costs the same as it would with one cleaner working longer; it just gets finished sooner. Figures below are typical starting points — a home that hasn't had a professional clean in a while, or one with pets, will usually sit toward the higher end.
| Home size | Team | Time on-site | Typical price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bedrooms | 1 cleaner | 6–7 hrs | £150–£175 |
| 3 bedrooms | 2 cleaners | ~4–4½ hrs each | £200–£225 |
| 4+ bedrooms | 2 cleaners | ~5–6½ hrs each | £250–£325 |
Based on our standard £25/hour rate, work-hours required for an averagely-kept home. Your exact price and team size are confirmed when you book.
What can affect the time
- How long since the last proper clean. A home that's been kept up to date takes less time than one that hasn't been deep cleaned in years.
- Pets. Pet hair and related mess typically adds time, especially on floors and soft furnishings.
- Clutter. The more there is to work around — or clear before we can clean a surface — the longer it takes.
- Add-ons. Oven cleans, inside appliances, and similar extras are quoted and timed separately from the figures above.
